Savannah is the south’s most historic and beautiful city. Your hotel, the Hilton Savannah Desoto, is located in the heart of the charmingly restored antebellum district of 18th and 19th century homes and squares. Within walking distance of the shops and stores along the Savannah River. Experience this special city where Forrest Gump declared: “Mama always said life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”

Who Should Attend

Faculty and staff with responsibilities or an interest in faculty development should attend. Distance education and online course developers and coordinators should attend. Faculty chairs and deans are invited. And any teacher or faculty member interested may attend.

The information in the Institute is specific to online and hybrid courses, but much of it is relevant and useful for traditional classroom instruction as well.

Institutions are encouraged to send a team of two people. Studies show that a team of two people takes back more information and ideas for your institution.

Attendance will be limited to allow maximum involvement, attention and interaction with the presenters.
